A man was chased by a ferocious tiger across a field which had a cliff at its end. Escaping the tiger, the man caught vine & swung himself over the edge of the cliff. To his dismay, he saw more tigers on the ground below him! He was certain of his death. He noticed a wild strawberry grown on the cliff wall. He plucked the strawberry & ate it. He never before realized how sweet a strawberry could taste!
Just as that man we in the times of our failures, setbacks, depression, oppression, rejection, sickness, economic loss, spiritual turmoil, persecution, hopelessness & at point of death remember the Lord God our Creator. We fail to enjoy Lord’s blessing in most of our life span for we remain ignorant about His provision for our Spirit, Soul & Body which He has revealed, established & attained in His Son Jesus Christ.
Ignorance cannot prove your innocence for Bible says that mankind have failed to give glory, honor and praise to the Lord God their creator for they have exchanged the glory of the immortal God for an image resembling mortal human beings or birds or four-footed animals or reptiles and exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served the creation rather than the Creator Himself.
God’s love, grace & mercy has been revealed to the mankind through His Son Jesus Christ who came to save the sinners & bless them with eternal life. Yet mankind is ignorant about the free gift of salvation for by grace we are been saved through faith & not by ones Karma lest any man may boast. For in Jesus Christ alone we have forgiveness of our sins & Salvation of Soul.
Do not be ignorant of God’s Divine Grace and Mercy that He has revealed for you through His Son Jesus Christ; do not be lazy and wait for the day of your death and think that in that last hour of your life you will confess and repent of your sins unto the Lord, for you do not know when death shall strike you, so consider this very hour and day of your life as the desired time of the Lord for your salvation for if you will remain ignorant on God’s times and season’s there remains only weeping and gnashing of the teeth. Let it not so happen just as the man chased by ferocious tiger that he understood and enjoyed the good taste of strawberry at the time of his near death experience; so also in context of your spiritual life, that at your death bed you receive God’s Salvation and thereafter when you taste God’s goodness for your life and you die with a desire that, “How much blessed it would have been, if I would have received God’s Salvation and enjoyed His Goodness and Faithfulness in His Promises & His Holy Spirit in and through His Son Jesus Christ”!
Taste and See that the Lord is Good and He loves you with His eternal love.
