II Thessalonians Part 2

We are continuing on here in the book of Thessalonians and the subject is false teaching regarding the return of Jesus Christ and His return. This is probably one of the most critical chapters of our generation, the generation of the fig tree, which began May 1948, when the nation Israel as a result of Jeremiah Chapter 24, when the good figs, the house of Judah, as well as the evil figs of Genesis Chapter 3, described not as Jews and claim to be of Judah, but of the synagogue of Satan as in Revelation 2:7 and 3:7. As a result this epistle, or letter was written immediately after the first epistle, or I Thessalonians was written for warning as much false teaching was going on after the first letter was sent. Let’s get it on here as this is not men’s traditions or church doctrines, but the Word of God. Check me out or any person, pastor, church leader, religion, or church that brings you God’s Word, for it will be just you and the Lord GOD Almighty when HE returns and we go back to Him, for judgment as here:
Revelation 20:11 “And I saw a great white throne, and Him That sat on it, from Whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.”
Revelation 20:12 “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.”
Revelation 20:13 “And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.”
Revelation 20:14 “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.”
Revelation 20:15 “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
This is at the end of the Lord’s Day, or the thousand year spiritual period and next age, that begins when The Lord Jesus Christ returns to this earth to take back His many membered Bride, those with free will and are still liable to perish, as well as God’s elect, those that were preordained at the beginning of the foundation of this flesh age for they withstood Satan in the first earth age as here:
Revelation 19:7 “Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to Him: for the marriage of the lamb is come, and His wife hath made herself ready.”
Revelation 19:8 “And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.”
These people are called the many membered Wife, of the Lord, not the Bride, spiritually, meaning they withstood Satan in the first earth age, and are already judged? Why do you say and why would God favor or choose these people? Not because they are some special or perfect people, but their actions justified them for the did not bow one knee to Satan, as here:
I Kings 19:18 “Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.”
Baal (Strong’s 1168) a Phoenician deity; (Same as Strong’s 1167) a master; hence a husband or an owner.
They stayed true to one Lord, the Lord Jesus Christ, not Satan, their master, as the word “Baal” here means or owner, as God’s people as Christians, meaning Christ’s man, or woman, is a believer in Him, for HE is the Word of God:
Revelation 19:12 “His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He Himself.”
Revelation 19:13 “And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God.”
He knows His name and His name is Christ, Who is the Word of God! So know His name and know the Lord! When you are a believer, or you say you are a Christian, who are you? Do you know God’s Word with understanding, or enough, so that as we learned last time in Matthew Chapter 25, those five virgins that did not have enough oil in their lamps, meaning the Holy Spirit in Which the Word of God was written in His Spirit, or that truth of His Word. So learn God’s Word with understanding, be successful in not worshipping the false messiah, or antichrist, meaning instead-of Christ, as he comes first. It’s that plain, simple and easy, nothing difficult about this as:
Matthew 11:28 “Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden.”
Matthew 11:29 “Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto you souls.”
Matthew 11:30 “For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.”
We who labor in the field, meaning we are working in this field of this flesh life, seeking the Truth of His Word in order to love Him by learning His Word, keeping out of trouble, or sin, and helping others along so God can use us to get others to His Word successfully when God is ready for them. Not when we force our religious ideas or beliefs on people, when the Lord, Himself, uses us to plant those seeds out onto the world, for:
James 2:18 “Yea, a man may say, “Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.”
James 2:19 “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.”
When we put on that yoke, like an ox that is pulling the wagon or the till so the farmer could plant seeds in the soil, the yoke that Jesus puts on us, gently and easily guiding us along so we can work in His field, or this flesh life, planting those seeds of His Word into the good soil, or the people that HE wants to hear His Word, then the Lord can see our works. We can say that we are “Christians” or people that come in His name and “are saved” so then as many believe, think that’s it, and we have eternal life, now we can just down, be lazy in church and take in all the junk, the men’s traditions, sing some songs, look very religious and holy, to the world, we think. But in reality, we are naked of actually loving God by doing nothing! Sitting on our lazy butts warming a church pew, not helping out a brother or sister, fellow believers, or even strangers, not knowing His Word, so then GOD, when it’s HIS time to plant seeds, and do His harvest as here:
Revelation 12:15 “And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.”
Revelation 12:16 “And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.”
Revelation 12:17 “And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”
That serpent, Satan as in Revelation 12:9 and Revelation 20:2 is the flood of the end time, the lies and deception that will come out of his mouth. It is not as we think Satan as evil, as yes, he is behind anything that is against the love of the Lord, Who is the Word of God, but through scripture as we read in Matthew 4 and Luke 4 which is by scripture, and the Word of God. So guess what? We cannot play “church” anymore and look holy, but we have to have that armor of God, meaning know God’s plan with understanding knowing that there are yes, two tribulations! Jesus will come after Satan, and we have to know this fact and not think that we will be falling away anywhere as we have gone over so many times:
Ezekiel 13:18 “And say, ‘Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the (women) that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls alive (that come) unto (you)?”
Ezekiel 13:19 “And will ye pollute Me among My People for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to My People that hear your lies?”
Ezekiel 13:20 “Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; ‘Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.”
These fake preachers, which God is telling Ezekiel to go and preach, meaning teach God’s Word for when we teach it, the prophesies in it will happen as God has stayed true to us from the beginning of the foundation of this flesh age, until the end for when Jesus stands at the Mount of Olives, not flying us away somewhere in outer space:
Zechariah 14:1 "Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.”
Zechariah 14:2 “For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the People shall not be cut off from the city.”
Zechariah 14:3 “Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when He fought in the day of battle.”
Zechariah 14:4 “And His feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.”
The subject here is the day of the LORD, when Satan as we will soon read here in II Thessalonians will sit in God’s throne and claim to this world in our generation that he is God! Then that city will go into spiritual captivity, just like the example, as we are to learn by example:
I Corinthians 10:11 “Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.”
I Corinthians 10:12 “Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.”
I Corinthians 10:13 “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, Who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
I Corinthians 10:14 “Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.”
Just like the seventy year captivity of the temple and the city of Jerusalem, including the land of Judea, by the king of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar, we, too, will go into captivity under that final king of Babylon, meaning Satan. That historical event, not fiction as this happened in history, when Satan sits on God’s throne claiming to be God, then claiming he is the god of this earth, and the world will worship him. Then God tells us that all these events, all that Bible “space” that you may think HE has taken up to bore you, for God’s Word is never boring when you read it chapter by chapter and verse by verse, following the subject and the object, following the precept that is spoken about. There is no temptation, meaning nothing in the flesh that some person has gone through at one time or another, but His Word is always faithful. Suffer that temptation, for as Christians, Satan, God’s enemy, that archangel and cherubim, that was supposed to protect God’s throne in the first earth age, sat in God’s throne, stabbing God in the back for God trusted Satan to do his job of covering, or protecting the throne so that would not happen! That is why we are here in the flesh, for God loves His people. Who would rather, come in the flesh, not asking us to do something g that HE would not do, but HE did it perfectly:
Hebrews 2:14 “Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;”
Hebrews 2:15 “And deliver them, who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.”
Hebrews 2:16 “For verily He took not on Him the nature of angels; but He took on Him the seed of Abraham.”
Jesus showed us how to live this life perfectly according not to living as this is the only life we’ll ever have and make a party of it, but hear God’s Word and be successful. Jesus could have easily come as an Angel of the Lord in His spiritual Body, but showed us how to live by being in the family of or Seed of Abraham, the woman’s, Eve’s, Seed, or Offspring, of Genesis 3:15:
Genesis 3:15 “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her Seed; It shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise His heel.”
seed (Strong’s 2233) seed, figuratively fruit, plant, sowing-time, posterity, child, (from Strong’s 2232) to sow, to disseminate, plant, fructify, bear, conceive seed, set with, sow or yield.
When Satan, planted his seed, the sons of Cain, or Kenites, when Satan deceived both Adam and Eve, making that sin of listening to his words, as Satan’s used scripture, in Genesis Chapter 3, twisting God’s Word, and tempting them both, then covered their genitals with fig leaves, for their sexual in, in which a child, Cain, was produced the serpent, who is Satan as in Revelation 12:9 and Revelation 20:2, offspring, or seed. As Satan was trying to destroy the Word of God, Who is Jesus that did come, was crucified one time for all of our sins, as HE overcame death for us, so we have nothing to worry about, as the Lord is always faithful. We can never rely on flesh people, their words, religion, church doctrines and religions, but on God’s Word for HE is eternal. Then at the end of the Lord’s Day, or the one thousand years, Satan is re-released from the pit which is in heaven, where he is today as in Revelation 12:7-9, will re-test the number, is many, as the sand of the sea, as in Revelation 20:8, of the many Christians, other nations, of this earth, this final generation, who have not read God’s Word with understanding for they have not read it, have not been taught, or could care less! We all bring our own punishment or blessing on ourselves. We can only blame ourselves, not God, God forbid! As we read and let’s read this again:
Revelation 20:12 “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.”
Revelation 20:13 “And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.”
The point is that they were judged by their works, meaning what they did. Not that they were a particular religion, or a member of a church, were baptized in that church, but by what these people did. Then the sea, meaning as water symbolizing people, nations, and tongues, or languages, as in Revelation 17:15, who were dead, meaning spiritually dead, for they will have worshipped Satan in the flesh, as we soon get to here in II Thessalonians Chapter 2, when that son of perdition, Satan, sits in God’s throne and claims to be God. That is what we are judged by, not because we are of a particular tribe, people, or nation, religion, ethnic group, but by what we do as individuals. Then here these people who had passed on and are right at God’s throne:
Revelation 6:9 “And when He had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:”
Revelation 6:10 “And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost Thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?”
Revelation 6:11 “And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.”
They knew God’s Word with understanding and died for living in the flesh, just as we all had to be born by water through the womb, innocent in our mother’s wombs, and then we, too, will stand up for God’s Word. They put on white robes, remember those fine, linen, robes, for their actions, not because they were some “holy” or “special” saints, or religious people, but their actions they wear in heaven when standing before the LORD God Almighty Jehovah. Just like when we are on a long trip, and the question we all ask either out loud as when we were kids, but in our minds, when we will get there, for remember they have to put up with Satan who is being held in chains in heaven, accusing God’s people, night and day, and day and night:
Revelation 8:1 “And when He had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.”
That’s why there was silence in heaven, when Revelation 12:7-9 happens, and there is quiet in heaven for the half of one hour of temptation, which is now shortened as in Mark 13:20 to:
Revelation 9:4 “And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.”
Revelation 9:5 “And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.”
For the five month period the seven year period of Daniel 4 and 9, to five month period in which Satan will come at the one half mark, or for the last two and one half months of that period, in our very near future. Do you listen to men’s traditions, like you don’t need to understand God’s Word, as you will fly out of here, or do you hear the Word of God? Hear not my words, or men’s traditions, but the Word of our Lord Jesus, HIS Word, and see for yourself what God has already told us about right here in God’s Word. So here:
Revelation 12:10 “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.”
Revelation 12:11 “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”
Revelation 12:12 “Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth, and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.”
