Since you have been brought back to life,
In the midst of toils and strife;
Focus on things that are above,
Given by Christ filled with His love.
Keep your mind on things from above,
That Jesus sends down with His love;
Rather than any worldly things,
With iniquities that it brings.
You died and your life is hidden,
Inside Christ who has forgiven;
What has happened within the past,
Since you have confessed and did fast.
Christ is your life gave you rebirth,
No longer part of planet earth;
When He appears He will see you,
In your glory faithful and true.
Put to death the worldly within,
Rid yourself of the sexual sin;
Perversion passion lust and greed,
That is sowing corrupted seed.
Get rid of your anger and hate,
Let His love start to compensate;
Hot tempers and cursing within,
Replace it with some discipline.
Do not lie unto each other,
Just be honest to your brother;
Get rid of who you use to be,
So Christ opens your eyes to see.
