A Tear

A Tear A tear fell on my cheek and I wondered why. Then a voice said to me, "They are not your tears you cry". "My spirit is grieved today of the many times you passed me by." While on your knees calling out to me, I was there to wipe your tears. Now you only call my name, when you want me near. I promised to be with you every moment of each day, How can I be there, when from my arms you pull away? You invited me into your heart, your Shepherd to be. But, when I tug on your heart you ignore my lead. That tear upon your cheek is nothing my dear, The ocean is full of heaven's tears. Tears are pearls from heaven, a special gift from me, They cleanse the heart, relieve the soul and set the spirit free. Tears open the heart so that I may come in to fill the chambers with my love. Don't wonder child why you cried, that tear was from me! Jesus Wept! By, LaVerda Andres May 30th, 2012
