Today I felt your arms around me,
ever close and warm.
Knew that you would carry me,
throughout the coming storm.
Knew there would be better days,
brighter things in store.
And as I melted into You,
felt you Love me more.
Today I knew again my Lord,
none can get between.
Nothing here can steal my Joy,
the wonder of my dreams.
Nothing here can quite compare,
to all I feel for You.
How much you are part of me,
in all I try to do.
So bring it on,
and then be gone,
the heartache of life’s trials.
I have Greater things than this
to fill my heart with smiles.
Jesus stands with open arms.
Bathes me in God’s Grace.
Leads me ,daily, closer Home,
where I will find my place.
