Progressive churches all across the United States and Canada have all agreed to change their names in a show of unity. These so called seeker friendly churches have long abandoned traditional beliefs that might offend any segment of the population. For example you will not find a CROSS anywhere in these churches, because if might make someone feel guilty for their sins. Unmarried couples are allowed to openly participate in teaching, choir and other ministries. Pastor’s refuse to take a stand on any subject that may be politically charged. So they look the other way at gay couples, drunks, spousal abusers.
So the new name will be “The SUNSHINE AND HAPPINESS CHURCH OF THE AMERICAS” The only bylaw is that at no time will any member of the ministry team mention sin or infer the any individual might be sinning.
The previous statements are only partly true. Churches are far to selfish to ever agree to have the same name.
