He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
Psalm 91:1 (NIV)
Where do you put your confidence? When I click on a light switch I expect a light to go on. What if the bulb is dead? What if there is a power outage? Have I paid my last light bill? Do you have confidence in your job; have you seen the unemployment statistics? A friend of mine told me a couple of years ago to be confident and invest in real estate, that I would make money even if I trip all over myself. Well, you know how that went south. Yankee fans have been confident, then it was Redsox fans, hey, where did the Rays come from? Have you trusted and been confident in people? Have they ever let you down? Marriage vows; “till death to us part” well, until divorce anyway. Okay, do we need to talk about Wall Street, the shrinking dollar, and rising taxes? You may be thinking thanks for the encouraging writing today, Ken. But wait, there is more.
I can tell you I have put my confidence in God. According to Psalms 121, God is always watching us and never sleeps nor slumbers. God is everywhere always. God is the creator of heaven and earth and everything in between. God has created everything and is always watching. Real protection is in him and he loves me with all his heart. Want to make an investment? Want some really good real estate? Want someone who will never leave you nor forsake you nor let you down? Put your faith, hope and confidence in God today, everything else pales in comparison.
God Bless
