Rarely have I seen such a thrilling soccer match. The UEFA final between Bayern Munich and Chelsea last night was a humdinger! With minutes to spare before the final whistle was due to blow, Bayern scored and it looked like it was game over for Chelsea.
Drogba was going to have none of that and his header sent the teams into extra time. Another 30 minutes of play and a dramatic penalty shoot out saw Chelsea win on penalties 4-3.
It took shear determination not to give up! How relevant in the warfare we face with Satan in every day life. How often don't we face circumstances in life and feel that's game over for us.
Luckily we don't need to fear because our header came from our Champion Jesus when He took that final breath on the cross and said, "It is finished!" All we have to do is show up on the pitch and play.
