Oh, Jesus

Oh, Jesus, what to do with these melancholy days?
All I can do is call out your name.
My heart is breaking and Iím not sure why.
Have my thoughts or actions made you cry?

Oh, Jesus, I strive for perfection each morning.
When I ask your forgiveness of thoughts that keep storming.
My mind and my heart are at war with each other,
I climb back in bed and reach for the covers.

Oh, Jesus, I so need your love and protection
You have my undying, adoring affection.
I know my suffering displeases you so.
I search for the reasons I cannot let go.

Oh, Jesus, I am of the most fortunate ones,
To have been received by my Fatherís Son.
Your love and compassion stand by me each day.
I just felt the heartache and pain go away!

If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW

Very well expressed! A poem we all can identify with.
