John 14:6 “I am the way, the truth and the light. No one can come to the Father, except through me.”
Jesus, come unto us, show the way
On our journey’s road in this life
Jesus, light the path to lead
Us on this dark, cold night
Your way does not always comply
With our own wills we do follow
Our ways only lead to hell
Leaving spirits empty and hollow
The truth shall always set us free
Your truth awakening the reality
Lies we tell ourselves to survive
Serve the devil’s opportunity
Truth comes from the Chosen One
He died so that we might be
His crucifixion does not lie
On the cross he hung for me
The light comes from His shining soul
Luminescent, paler than white
Warmth and comfort it does bring
Dark souls awaken within sight
Dear Jesus, light our travels daily
The way to the next right thing
Truth is revealed day by day
Of Salvation, at last, our souls sing.
