God you made the morning for my delight
As I see gold in the sky just in sight
As the new day comes over the hill
I feel such joy it is a thrill
What blessing will there be
What has God sent this day for me?
I am still in bed not time to rise
But I can not believe my eyes such beauty
In the sky to see another day my God for me
Walk with me God and hold my hand
What ever comes help me to understand?
And as the new day now unfolds
Give me your wisdom and love
That I may lead souls
To your eternal home and with your love
I am not alone
Thank you lord for this morning light
It lifts my soul my world seams right
Walk with me lord until days end
And keep me safe my lord and friend
Until another day comes through
And once again I can walk with you
