When the first light of morn
Opens my eyes to the world
I feel your gaze upon me
Greeting me at the start of the day.
When your voice reaches me
Through the abyss of space and time
My heart responds via the sound waves
In a pure dialogue between hearts.
When I look at the clouds at dew fall
I see your special sign in the sky
I am thirsty for your love
Hungry for your word.
When the light flashes at eve
The moonlight shines down in full
There is a spark in my eyes and heart
The fire of love ignites my soul.
When I rest in the comfort of the night
I feel your hand upon me in blessing
I find you in my thoughts
I meet you in my dreams
Until I awake to a new day with you.
When I walk on the path of life
I sense you walking besides me
I see you in my heart at any time of day
You are there praying right next to me
