Who calms when I am afraid?
Who gave his life for me?
Who comforts me when I am ill?
Who takes away my pain?
Who lets me cry upon his shoulder?
Who lights my dark terrain?
Who intercepts my ghoulish dreams?
Who opens every door?
Who speaks his love when I am down?
Who heals my every sore?
Who washed me in his sacred blood”
Who sees my every tear?
Who knows me better than myself?
Who chases every fear?
Who loves me just the way I am?
Who hurts when I'm in pain?
He who God sent as His Son.
To free me from my chains.
