Who works better, and whose work attracts greater and longer lasting benefits? Godís or yours? That's the dilemma we face today as sons/daughters of God, between following the Law (of prosperity in today's term), and depending solely on God's grace. In simple terms, the Law (of prosperity) means, God blessing our work and effort, while Grace means God Himself working for us, to bless us! The grace of God is our deliverer; it is the sure remedy that eradicates our struggles, effort, hard work and toil.
It's no credit for heirs or princes to boast of their work, instead they have people; loyal, faithful, dedicated and competent staffs work for them, in our case, by the power and help of the Holy Spirit - That's GRACE! We're ushered into our rest when God starts working for us, using people, circumstances or whatever! Who would dare employ a prince, except the king, who employs a priest, but the LORD? We're kings/princes and priests unto God! Revelation 1:6. When we strive to obey/work for only our heavenly Father, we enter into our rest from working and labouring for men, money and material resources. God makes these resources work for us, through Other People's Efforts (O.P.E)! - 2Samuel 9:9-12; John 4:34-38; Isaiah 61:1-7; Matthew 25:14-23.
The grace of God is God's ultimate rest for us. Walking fully in God's grace is where we enjoy the total benefits of God's rest reserved for us alone!
So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who have entered into Godís rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world. So let us do our best to enter that rest. But if we disobey God, as the people of Israel did, we will fall.
We boast of how hard we work and accomplish through our hard work because our hard work/effort is a product of the Law (of prosperity). This is the direct opposite of the GRACE of God - God working for us, to bless us. Here, we can never afford to boast, but give ALL the glory to God alone.
God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you canít take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
If, in fact, Abraham was justified by works, he had something to boast aboutóbut not before God. What does Scripture say? ďAbraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.Ē
All sons/daughters of God are princes/princesses, and are entitled to God's grace. This is where God works for us as we simply seek and obey Him promptly and absolutely. It's time to return and receive greater benefits than we had in Eden before the fall, now available to us only in Christ Jesus!
For since the world began, no ear has heard and no eye has seen a God like you, who works for those who wait for him!
The Law (of prosperity) was primarily designed for servants and slaves. That's why we, sons/daughters of God are free from the Law (of prosperity), being led by the Holy Spirit. Servants or slaves labour to earn and receive rewards for their services, while sons and heirs only ask and freely receive gifts as their inheritance.
When people work, their wages are not a gift, but something they have earned. But people are counted as righteous, (healed, or wealthy) not because of their work, but because of their faith in God (as a free gift) who forgives sinners (heals the sick and enriches the bankrupt/poor with great wealth).
IT'S TIME TO DECLARE COMPLETE INDEPENDENCE FROM THE LAW (OF PROSPERITY) INTO THE GRACE/GIFTS OF GOD! - Please see also Matthew 7:7-11; Luke 5:1-11; John5:1-9; Romans 8:14.
But when you are directed/led by the Spirit, you are not under obligation to the law (of prosperity) of Moses.
Enjoy a marvelous day in God's awesome presence.
