Beautiful flowers they are
Bloom into this world.
Bundles of innocence,
Often boys, often girls.
Eyes full of God.
What do they see?
Out of heaven’s skies,
When they look at you and me?
They must see salvation,
They must see love.
They must see adoration,
They’re pure as a dove.
At first strikes of betrayal,
Lighted eyes go dimmer.
Part of their soul,
Loses a glimmer.
As time goes by,
Their souls start to die.
Tiny hearts break,
They no longer cry.
Their spirit is killed,
The mind draws within.
Their bodies are broken,
Will it ever end?
Suffer the children.
To come unto me.
Jesus, please save them,
Please, don’t let this be.
