Devotionals
I don't let many people see me without my makeup. Like most people I want to look my best, I am representing Jesus. However are we made up on the outside and dirty on the inside? Although we are clean on the outside, unkept on the inside. Are there dark corners where the filth of sin has been allowed to stay. We know all the christain sayings and how to dress and act just right, but in our heart and mind we have hate and anger. All made up on the outside. Maybe we should use association. No one would think of leaving home without brushing their teeth. How about after brushing quote David in Psalms "God set a watch over my mouth so I do not sin against you".
God judges by the heart not outward appearances. We should judge ourselves so we are not judged. I believe it means so our sins are not exposed and we be brought to shame. God is not mocked or fooled. So start each day by making sure you're clean inside.
