The prayer of a woman when she was 31 years of age resulted in God answering her prayer, she married at age 32 and went on to bear and raise 12 children. Single ladies will want to know the wording of her prayer: "Father in heaven, hear my prayer. And grant it if you can. I've hung a pair of trousers here. Please fill them with a man."
A preacher told this to a group and a few days later received this from a worried mother: "My son heard your speech and now I am worried. Each night when our son goes to bed he hangs a bikini on the bed post."
Prayer is powerful beyond words and with a visual attached may be more so.
I don't know much about visuals, I do know the Lord expects us to focus our prayers rather than send scatter gun requests. Specificity is noted in many of the prayer verses in the Word. Jesus made this plain in His famous instruction in Mark 11:24 "Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." In this classic we are told to specify, desire, pray and exercise faith. Following the example of Christ in the garden it is wise to add, "Never the less, not my will but thine be done." He does approve of exercising thought in preparing our prayers.
