Evolution is taught as truth in public schools to 90% of Christian children. Creation cannot be taught because it is claimed that it is not the truth.
Evolution is even taught in some churches and in some Christian schools, as truth.
Evolution teaches that: .....God is not good
..............................The Word of God is not Truth
....................Man is just an animal
Man determines truth through science and not God's Word, therefore he can be his own god.
Evolution teaches that there were millions of years of death, diseases, violence, thorns, etc., and that God proclaimed this world to be very good. Then God proclaimed these things would come to man after he sinned. Before man was supposed to have sinned, God specifically told man that animals were not to eat animals or men and that man was not to eat animals or men. This was after millions of years of this already happening and it continually happening. Mankind was already disobeying God. So according to evolution, man was already a sinner before the fall of mankind and God is just a God of confusion.
Evolution teaches that the world wide flood during Noah's time, never existed. The Scriptures tell us that it did happen and that Christ Jesus (the Word of God), referred to this event as part of His teachings.
God teaches that man came into existence at the end of day 6. Evolution teaches that man never came into being. He was once an animal and is now just a higher form of an animal.
Evolution teaches that if you believe the creation story of the Bible, then you believe a lie and are not intelligent.
Evolution claims that it is the interpretation of the facts by man, that determines the truth. It is not the Bible or the Word of God that determines truth. So the teaching comes out, that the Bible is not the inerrant Word of God and that Jesus is not the Truth, the Way and the Life.

What you've written is so very true. These facts are foundational to our faith. If we do not believe what the first chapters of the Bible say, why should we believe the rest of it? God's Word is plain to anyone not reading it with preconceptions. Thank you for keeping this issue in front of people (especially Christians) who may think it really doesn't matter...it does.
