Have you ever felt insufficient while struggling with life's problems? Well, I've been there and done that. Sometimes, it's hard when life's pathway carries you down the street of discouragement or the avenue of doubt. All Christians, if truthful, have also been there and done. Often times, you may even doubt your Salvation.
So is life's big mysteries here, there or neither here nor there.
Praise God, His Grace not only saves us ( Ephesians 2:8-9) but His Grace continues to keeps us throughout eternity. (... For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” - Hebrews 13:5 NKJV)
In this poem, the words here and there become metaphors for accepted and dismissed. Nobody likes to be on the receiving end of that kind of conclusion. However, the Bible tells us, "FOR THOSE WHOM THE LORD LOVES HE DISCIPLINES, AND HE SCOURGES EVERY SON WHOM HE RECEIVES." (Hebrews 12:6)."
Yes, God is here, there and everywhere. And, He is willing and waiting to talk to us through His living scripture, if we are willing to talk to Him in prayer.
Is it here or there
Is it a simple idiom
Is it a complex stare
Is it life itself
Is it too deep to bear
Is it here or there
Is it a signal of remembrance
Is it a thought to share
Is it a nightmare to recall
Is it a dream so fair
Is it here or there
Is it past or future
Is it a moment to care
Is it full of memory
Is it forgiveness rare
Is it here or there
Standing by my Savior
Who's suffering forbear
Showing His forgiveness
My life to spare
Is it here or there
A Heavenly futures mine
In a mansion foursquare
While I praise Him forever
There's nothing to compare
Amen!
