The early 1930's, They were hard times and work was by no means easy. A dad has gone out in the fields doing whatever it you do on a small ranch. A mother is home doing her laundry on an old washboard in the back yard. She is busy, I'm sure then that it would have been a mountain of diapers, cause this young mom is having a baby ever two years, Not that this was a bad thing. That's the way it was back then, there wasn't any birth control. This mother loves all her children and she did the best she could with what she had.
While she was doing her laundry she had left daughter, Molly in charge of sitting with the baby asleep in the cradle…In the meantime she came in after finishing her wash and checked on the baby. Molly proceeded to ask who were all the little children, dancing around the baby's cradle. Mom asked her more questions, what were they doing and what did they look like? Molly said they were all dressed in white and laughing and dancing around the cradle as if they were just hovering around it, Of course mom just thought she was imagining this. That next morning mom awoke to find her baby had died. This little mother had at least two babies that died like this, and later birthed five more babies , I asked her one day, “ how did you get through these times?” I would have been a basket case. Her reply was that this was the way GOD brought comfort to her heart, and only HE gave her strength to get through the heartaches. You see she lost seven babies some, from the influenza, that was very much around, and some were still born. She lived to have nine more babies that survived, ,and although she was a quiet woman she was strong in her faith with her GOD; and that is where she got her strength. This is why I am a firm believer in Angels, this was one of my oldest sisters that saw these little Cherubins around the babies cradles, she described them so perfectly; when I asked her to tell me about them. I’ve always wondered why GOD only allows certain people to get a glimpse of these wonderful beings? You have to be a very special person to experience anything like this and Molly was a special lady! I can just imagine my mother now laughing and celebrating in her heavenly home with all her babies that are now so perfect, and of course there are other siblings there that have left us living ones here below. One day it will be such a great reunion day when I can meet all my other brothers and sisters, OH WHAT A DAY!
