There was a cat delivering a baby just right outside the window of my room, it was so noisy so I thought of writing about kittens.
Many people have written the advantage of human over animals, now I am turning it around.
I want to compare a baby human with a kitten (a baby cat). I remember when I was asked to look after my younger brother, I left him on the bed. He still doesn't know how to walk at the time so I got out of the room to get his walker, because I like watching him walk around the house. After a couple of seconds I heard him cry out loud.
I thought, babies do not have the intelligence to yield on the edge of a high place, they do not know that if they fall they get hurt. Basically, they do not have the instincts to foresee danger. However, if you put a kitten on a tall table the kitten wouldn't jump or walk beyond the edge, because it knows it will hurt. It is ironic, because someone who will grow up to be vulnerable to the dangers of falling doesn't have the instinct to avoid it at birth. A kitten, on the other hand, something that will grow up learning how to fall safely from high places, already has the instinct to move away from the edges of high places.
But, there is one point in our life when we will hear this line, "Congratulations, you are now officially a man/woman!". When can we really honor that someone has gone past being a baby and has grown into a man/woman/.
It is probably the opposite of being a baby. A man should know the things that might hurt him and yield whenever he encounters one. A man should not cry because he hurt himself from falling, instead, he can stand up by himself and tell himself that its his fault.
God always tries to deliver us from evil and put us away from danger. Whenever, we are on the edge of making a decision, he tries to be a part of it through our thoughts and conscience. Because at times, there might not be anyone beside us that he can use as an instrument to pull us away from an edge. Sometimes, you can really fall and hurt yourself. Whenever you fall, just call HIS name and He will pick you up.
It is our responsibility to remember the things that may harm us. It is our responsibility to keep ourselves away from the things that might harm us. If we cannot, then we are still a baby, kittens are better than us...
