Mathew 25:14-26- A man was about to go on a journey and he gave his servants talents to look after. He gave 5 talents to the other and 2 talents to another while he gave the third servant just 1 talent. Each of the servants doubled their talents except the one who was given only 1 talent because he did not find ways to increase it but rather buried it.
Where is your talent? One thing I am certain about is that God has given you a gift or talent that is unique and exclusive to you. If you do not have many talents at least you have one talent. You are talented, you are special, and you are unique. For every talent that the Lord has given you He is going to seek your account for it. He did not give it to you in order to keep it to yourself because if you do that no one will ever know let alone benefit from your talent since it will be like a hidden one.
Look inside of you for that unique thing you are gifted upon and use it. What you are talented on you will enjoy doing even when nobody notices; you will still do it even when you are not getting any dollars (reward) for it. This is a call for you to action; you have been given a talent.
Where is your talent? When the master asks this question will He be glad with what you have done with your talent- Mathew 25:21 or will He be angry with you and give you a kick? His master replied “you wicked lazy servant; so you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? Well then you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.” Do something with your talent.
The Lord is not amused when the talent is kept and not utilized to make life better for others and for you. You are talented.
