As I stood upon the deck of Titanic
Experiencing a ship that was dying
Amongst the thousands of passengers
All confused bewildered and crying
Knowing there was no chance of survival
Leaving family and friends behind
As the ship filled up with water
Knowing that it was a matter of time
Passengers with fear upon their faces
Panic was all around with no hope
Everyone scrambling for a seat
For a place in a crowded life boat
As the ship slowly slipped away
Into the watery sea’s icy cold
Accepting their fate as a matter of time
Not knowing what death would hold
All those who perished on the Titanic
Were transported to a land so bright
To join all there loved ones
Who passed into spirit that night?
