I remember when I was in Laguna because my Lola brought me out of town, but I left My mother, father and brother in Makati. I was saving money out of my allowance, so I had 40 pesos with me. On our 1st night, I was speaking with Ate Rose Destreza and I asked her "Ate Rose, ano kayang kinakain nila mama? May pera kasi ako, kaso hindi ko binigay sa kanila, inipon ko kasi yun e". When we got back from the outing, she kept talking about the conversation we had with my mom, because she was so touched, that at a young age, I already care for my mom.
In fact, I think most kids realize that they love their parents 1st, before they realize that they love themselves. Come to think of it, children actually need their parents pushyness for them to brush their teeth or take a bath. During adolescence, we learn to take care of ourselves and be hygienic.
I am a very transparent person when I am mad, but very opaque when I love. For the very thought, that loving is a weakness, I never said, "I love you Mom, you we're the 1st person I'm sure I love". I miss you mom.
If you ask around about people's though on the sentence "1st love never dies" you'll hear different opinions. When you glide and ask about their 1st love, you would probably hear (as in 99.99%) them talk about their 1st crush or their 1st partner. However, let us ask ourselves, does 1st love really never die? Who is/was our 1st love? Did you only feel love the 1st time you enter a romantic relationship or imagined you are in a relationship with your crush? If you say "Yes", then think again, When did you realize you loe your parents and when did you realize you love yourself? When did you feel you love God?
Now let us pull the clauses apart. "1st love" is the subject of the sentence, it could pertain to the actual feeling of love or it could be the 1st person you love. "Never dies" is the predicate. Now just looking at the subject, if it pertains to a person, then it is an obvious fact that the person you 1st love will someday die. Therefore, the previous statement proves that "1st love never dies" is wrong. Moreover, if it pertains to the actual feeling of love, the feeling of love dies with us as we die. Therefore, again, it will someday die.
There is only 1 1st love that will never die, God.
When you encounter the question, does 1st love never die? I am hoping that you'll have a better answer.
