We knew, what we came to do;
It was made clear, to meet him here;
We could not miss, the sign of kiss;
Nor allow night, to obscure the sight;
Quick went the embrace, upon his face;
He stood there, keenly aware, within his stare;
With hope hollowed, hustled shuffle followed;
Sword swing would sear, sting near my ear;
But fast as that, my hearing came back;
A touched healing, by whom we were stealing.
Passing of time, would find, we were blind;
The man made prisoner, became our sinner;
Then imprisoned sin, surrendered to Him.
