To preach is to explain, attempt to make known, to causee to understand.

What word? Words of God were God breathed.Words
for today are found inthe last books written, known as the prison epistles. They are: Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, I Timothy, II Timoghy, Titus and Philemon. These books were written after Israel was set aside.
Read the last chapter of the book of Acts.

When Jesus spoke to the woman at the well, He told of a time when worship would be in Spirit and truth, not in temples or buildiings made with hand. The reality of this is found in the prison epistles, that completed the scripture.

The prayer on the cross, "Father forgive them, they know not what they do." was prophesied in the book of Jonah. Those of Nineveh believed. The nation Israel did not. Salvation is now offered to the nations of the world.

The book of Acts and books written during that time period, around forty years, was the reoffering of the kingdom to Gods chosen nation Israel, The reoffering of a promise of land, a chosen nation, a thousand year reign of the promised kingdom, and a new heaven and new earth that is yet to come at the return of Christ.
Prophecy will be completed in Gods time.

The promise to believers today, is a heavenly calling, to appear with Christ at His appearing.

The book of John has evidence whthin its writing, of having been written after Israel was set aside. Notice it introduces the Word, is a history of the gospel, the story of salvation, and to "who so ever will" believe. It describes activities those of Israel already knew and understood, but other nations may not have.

The final books tell of believers becoming adopted sons of God, on to maturity, of being complete in Christ. It tells of Christ being the head of the church of believers in Him.
