He came to redeem the world. He was despised, and rejected, bruised for our iniquities and infirmaties. He poured out His Spirit unto death, so that we may live. He is our Risen Savior.
This amazing selfless and loving act was for our benefit. He was tortured and scourged. He defeated death. He is the author of salvation. He is the the one and only begotten Son of the Living God. Our Savior. Our King of Kings...Our Lord of Lords.
He died for us...Not an Easter Bunny...or a baby chick. We are in search of a lasting and fulfilling relationship with Jesus Christ. Not in search of an "Easter Egg."
The hunt is on for an intimate relationship with Jesus the Christ. The sweetness of His love is better than any chocolate bunny rabbit.
Savor His love, Savor His Word...and truly grasp the meaning of what He has done for us.
Hallelujah...He is risen~

I am April-2012-new to FaithWriters, but am always maturing, growing in my Lord Jesus. Your words: ‘The hunt is on for an intimate relationship with Jesus the Christ’ struck a truth-‘chord’ in my heart. Your writing is determined and prayerful. I am a musician and feel/hear your song. After all – the ‘Written Word of God’ was ‘spoken’… and sung... Thank you for your amazing encouragement to the thousands that step up to the Challenge by stepping out in faith – for Jesus and His Great Commission. And for you leaders, teachers, preachers, and judges – well, don’t we all need encouragement?? :) Christ our Lord asked it/needed it of/from his own disciples… He is our example. Thank you and many of His Blessings.
