Dwight Moody was traveling by boat on one of the Great Lakes when a really bad storm developed. The passengers cowered in fear starting an impromptu prayer meeting for deliverance, which Moody didn’t join. When asked why not he said, “I have a sister in Chicago and one in heaven and I don’t care which I see tonight.”
What a comfort that must have been. Moody believed, and lived, the Holy Scriptures. Especially, Philippians 1:21,
"For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain". .
Where do your life's priorities take you? Do you want to be the best, at your trade, the best obtaining your wealth, or the best friend of friends? All this seems good, on the surface. But, what is life, but just a vapor in time and space?
"Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away".(James 4:14)
So, what about looking to God's will and future for your life?
"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal" ( Matthew 6:19).

Are you living each day just the way that you should ?
Are you living your best to be Holy and Good ?
Are you walking that road to the heavenly home ?
Where you'll live with the Lord and you'll never more roam ?
Is your heart pure within where no sin may be found ?
Does the love of the Lord in your heart now abound ?
Is he reigning within does He have full control ?
Of your talents and time of your body and soul ?
Can the world see and know Jesus living in you ?
Does the life that you live for the Master ring true ?
Are you telling the world by your actions each day ?
That you'll living for God every hour and all way ?
