Have you ever paused to ponder Godís Word to you? Does the Lord know your future?
Yes, yes He does and teaches you can trust/believe what the Lord says. Here is a simple verse that most Christians have heard. The back story reveals that Peter was not listening to Jesus concerning the courage or lack thereof of Peter. Jesus throws this out in Mark 14:30 "And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice."
This infamous denial happened exactly as stated. Thus you should believe what God says to you about you. This is one reason to prayerfully read scripture and think about what you are reading. God is true and reliable even on all levels. But wait, there's more: On Resurrection Morning an angel gave the disciples instructions as to where they could meet Jesus and one said to them in Mark 16:7 "But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you." Peter was not written off by Jesus. I take comfort in that He isn't in the habit of giving up on you and me due to human weakness. He has a word for you in the misery of your self awareness.
