Nehemiah Part 3

2 of 2

Revelation 19:20 “And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, and with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.”Revelation 20:2 “And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,”

Revelation 20:7 “And when the thousand years are expired Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,”Revelation 20:8 “And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.”Revelation 20:9 “And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.”

Revelation 20:10 “And the devil that deceived them was cast in to the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”

Revelation 20:11 “And I saw a great white throne, and Him That sat on it, from Whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.”Revelation 20:12 “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.”Revelation 20:13 “And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.”Revelation 20:14 “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.”Revelation 20:15 “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”

Satan then is unlocked the second time, he is unlocked in Revelation 12:7-9 and released to earth in our very near future during this flesh age. At Jesus return, the role of false prophet and the ability to do miracles, as well as the one world kingdom Satan will be able to use in this flesh age, those to tools Satan will use against this generation will then perish. Then in Revelation 20:2 right at the beginning of the Lord’s Day Satan is relocked until Revelation 20:7, at the end of thousand years, those that fail or are deceived by Satan in this flesh age are re-tested. As Revelation 20:8 states they are as the sand of the sea, and remember as Revelation 12:4 states, one third of God’s people, or stars people in the angelic or spiritual bodies were drawn by Satan’s tail, or deceived. So today we have close over 7 billion people on earth today as of March 12, 2012, so on the conservative side let’s say one half of that number is living today or 3.5 billion people. Then God is fair in all things so in judging those that failed in the first earth age, it makes sense that they as well as the election that will withstand Satan in this flesh age are here as well. To give us an idea of how big this will be when Satan, son of perdition, of II Thessalonians 2:3-4 sits in God’s seat claiming that he is God will be the majority of people living today as God’s Word states the number as the sand of the sea. Now then at the end of the thousand years, the Lord’s Day the devil, the son of perdition, as the devil is Satan as Revelation 12:9 and Revelation 20:2 states perishing, and is blotted out. Then the great white throne judgment, this is the second death, or death of the soul, when those that go along with Satan during this test and they, too, are blotted out. This then begins the eternity which we will now continue learning about.

Revelation 21:22 “And I saw no Temple therein: for the LORD God Almighty and the Lamb are the Temple of it.”Revelation 21:23 “And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.”Revelation 21:24 “And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.”Revelation 21:25 “And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.”

The LORD God Almighty and the Lamb are the Temple, and here we see the full Godhead, as the LORD God is with Jesus on earth and the temple, which they are residing with those that overcome. Then here, as well, their light so bright that they outshine the sun, moon and stars and there is no night. Then we see there are other nations, in addition to the nation of Israel, that do overcome and they honor the Lord and respect and love Him. The gates then are not shut, as they are during the Lord’s Day as here:

Matthew 25:1 “Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.”

Matthew 25:2 “And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.”

Matthew 25:3 “They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:”

Matthew 25:4 “But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.”

Matthew 25:5 “While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.”

Matthew 25:6 “And at midnight there was a cry made, ‘Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go yet out to meet him.”

Matthew 25:7 “Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.”

Matthew 25:8 “And the foolish said unto the wise, ‘Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.’”

Matthew 25:9 “But the wise answered, saying, ‘Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.’”

Matthew 25:10 “And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.”

Matthew 25:11 “Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, ‘lord, lord, open to us.’”

Matthew 25:12 “But he answered and said, ‘Verily I say unto you, I know you not.’”

Matthew 25:13 “Watch therefore for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.”

oil (Strong’s 1637) olive oil; (from Strong’s 1636) an olive (the tree or the fruit); (The word El ah Yah or Jah in Hebrew)

The ten virgins represent God’s people as we are to remain virgin Brides, those with free will, and virgin Wife, those elect that are already married to the Lord, spiritually, meaning they are judged as they overcame and fought against Satan in the first earth age as in Revelation 19:7-8 states. The five virgins did not have enough oil, meaning the Truth of God’s Word in their lamps, the light to get them to the Lord’s Day, or when the Lord Jesus returns. They then are deceived by Satan, as we learned the majority of this world today will be, and want help from the five virgins with truth in their lamps. Then at that point one cannot give the entire Word of God right at the Lord’s return to someone, but told to go to the One, the Word of God, and learn themselves. Then when the Lord does return, the five that fail will knock on the Lord’s door. He then will say, “I don’t know you!” and the door is shut. That’s why it is so important to watch, meaning as Jesus taught in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 for all the signs He told us beforehand that must go down in this final generation of the fig tree which began May 1948 when Israel became a nation as Jeremiah 24 states when the good figs, house of Judah or Jews, and the bad figs, the Kenites, or sons of Cain, who are of the synagogue of Satan as Revelation 2:9 and Revelation 3:9 states began. We have to stay awake on our watch for the enemy, Satan, who will come very soon in our lifetimes, as we now are in year 64 of this generation here in March 2012. Now let’s go here:

Zechariah 14:8 “And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and winter shall it be.”

Zechariah 14:9 “And the LORD shall be King over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and His name one.”

Zechariah 14:10 “All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in here place, from Benjamin’s gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king’s winepresses.”

The subject of Zechariah 14 is the Lord’s Day. Then at that time Jesus will set up His kingdom at the mount of Olives as Zechariah 14:4 states, and even there is no seasons as summer and winter as the Lord will set the earth back right, on its axis, as remember there will be a great earthquake in which both heaven and earth will shake:

Hebrews 12:26 “Whose voice then shook the earth: but now He hath promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.”

Hebrews 12:27 “And this word, “Yet once more,” signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.”

Hebrews 12:28 “Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:”

Hebrews 12:29 “For our God is a consuming fire.”

So then the earth set up for the thousand years where the Lord’s name is King all over the earth, there are no false religions or churches, but one LORD and His name one. Then even the geography the Lord heals and the geography HE changes setting it right. Then we see as we are learning the gates and the wall being reestablished, here too during the millennium temple and the tower of Hananeel, meaning God has favored. Let’s now continue there in:

Nehemiah 3:6 “Moreover the old gate repaired Jehoiada the son of Paseah, and Meshullam the son of Besodeiah; they laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.”Nehemiah 3:7 “And next unto them repaired Melatiah the Gibeonite, and Jadon the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon, and of Mizpah, unto the throne of the governor on this side the river.”

Jehoiada (Strong’s 3111) Jojada; (from Strong’s 3077) Jehovah-known.

Meshullam (Strong’s 4918) allied.

Melatiah (Strong’s 4424) Jah has delivered

Jadon (Strong’s 3036) thankful; (from Strong’s 3034) to use (i.e. hold out) the hand; to throw (a stone, an arrow) at or away; to revere or worship (with extended hands); to bemoan (by wringing the hands); confession, praise, thanks.

Gibeon (Strong’s 1391) hilly; Gibon; (from same as Strong’s 1387) hillock; Geba; (same as Strong’s 1375) (meaning to be convex, curved or rounded as a sphere) a goblet; by analogy the calyx of a flower, house, cup, pot.

Then we see Jehoida, meaning Jehovah has known, and Meshullam, meaning allied, and Melatiah, meaning Jah has delivered and Jadon, meaning thankful are the next group that repair the old gate. The location they were from was Gibeon, meaning hilly, and we can see here what it was used for:

I Kings 3:2 “Only the people sacrificed in high places, because there was no house built unto the name of the LORD, until those days.”

I Kings 3:3 “And Solomon loved the LORD, walking in the statutes of David his father: only he sacrificed and burnt incense in high places.”

I Kings 3:4 “And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there; for that [was] the great high place: a thousand burnt offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar.”

II Chronicles 1: 3 “So Solomon, and all the congregation with him, went to the high place that [was] at Gibeon; for there was the tabernacle of the congregation of God, which Moses the servant of the LORD had made in the wilderness.”

There was no temple yet, so Solomon worshipped the Lord in this high, hilly location and did offer upon the altar there. This was the same location that the tabernacle and ark of the covenant which the LORD had Moses make when the people were in the wilderness there. Then let’s continue:

Nehemiah 3:8 “Next unto him repaired Uzziel the son of Harhaiah, of the goldsmiths. Next unto him also repaired Hananiah the son of one of the apothecaries, and they fortified Jerusalem unto the broad wall.”

Nehemiah 3:9 “And next unto them repaired Rephaiah the son of Hur, the ruler of the half part of Jerusalem.”Nehemiah 3:10 ”And next unto them repaired Jedaiah the son of Harumaph, even over against his house. And next unto him repaired Hattush the son of Hashabniah.”Uzziel (Strong’s 5816) strength of God.

goldsmiths (Strong’s 6885) refiner; (from Strong’s 6884) to fuse (metal), i.e. refine, melt, pure, purge away, try.

Hananiah (Strong’s 2608) Jah has favored.

apothecaries (Strong’s 7543) to perfume; apothecary; make ointment, spice.

Rephaiah (Strong’s 7509) Jah has cured.

part (Strong’s 6418) to be round; a circuit (i.e. district); also a spindle (as whirled); hence a crutch.

Jedaiah (Strong’s 3042) praised of Jah.

Hattush (Strong’s 2407) Chattush; from unused root of uncertain significance; assembled.

Hashabniah (Strong’s 2813) thought of Jah, God’s sacred name.

Then we have another group here on the broad wall. Uzziel, meaning strength of God, and of the goldsmiths, or gold refiners. Then next to him Hananiah, meaning Jah, God’s sacred name, has favored, his father of the apothecaries, or the perfumeries and ointment makers. Then next Rephaiah, or Jah has cured, and his father ruler of the half part, or circuit or area of Jerusalem. Then next was Jedaiah, meaning praised of Jah, God’s sacred name, near his house, or a temporary dwelling for when working on God’s house. Then Hattush, meaning assembled, his father Hashabniah, meaning thought of Jah. Now let’s continue:

Nehemiah 3:11 “Malchijah the son of Harim, and Hashub the son of Pahathmoab, repaired the other piece, and the tower of the furnaces.”Nehemiah 3:12 “And next unto him repaired Shallum the son of Halohesh, the ruler of the half part of Jerusalem, he and his daughters.”Nehemiah 3:13 “The valley gate repaired Hanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoah; they built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and a thousand cubits on the wall unto the dung gate.”Nehemiah 3:14 “But the dung gate repaired Malchiah the son of Rechab, the ruler of part of Bethhaccerem; he built it,

and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.”

Malchijah (Strong’s 4441) king (i.e. appointed by) of Jah

Harim (Strong’s 2766) snub-nosed; (from Strong’s 2763) to seclude; to devote to religious used (especially destruction); to be blunt as to the nose; make accursed, (utterly) destroy; devote, forfeit, have a flat nose; utterly (slay, make away).

Hashub (Strong’s 2815) intelligent; Chashshub; (from Strong’s 2803) to plait or interpenetrate, i.e. to weave; to fabricate; to plot or contrive (usually in a malicious sense; to think, regard, value, compute.

Shallum (Strong’s 7967) (same as Strong’s 7966) a requital, i.e. (secure) retribution; (venal, being bought or obtained by money) a fee, reward.

Hanun (Strong’s 2586) favored

Zanoah (Strong’s 2182) rejected; (from Strong’s 2186) to push aside, i.e. reject, forsake, fail.

Malchiah (Strong’s 4441) king (i.e. appointed by) of Jah

Rechab (Strong’s 7394) rider, Rekab; (from Strong’s 7392) to ride (an animal or in a vehicle); to place upon (for riding or general) to dispatch, bring on, carry, get up, on horseback, put, or make ride.

Bethhaccerem (Strong’s 1021) house of the vineyard.

The valley gate is next and Hanun, meaning favored, of the inhabitants of Zanoah, meaning rejected or forsaken. Then Malchiah, meaning king of Jah, the son of Rechab, meaning rider or to dispatch. Take note Satan mixing in here as I Chronicles 2:55 we read the Kenites are of the house of Rechab, so the Kenites, the sons of Cain, mixing in here as Satan does very slippery and covertly. They are of Bethhaccerem, meaning house of the vineyard. As Jesus taught us by their fruit we know them. Now let’s go here:

Jeremiah 6:1 “O ye children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to flee out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and set up a sign of fire in Beth-haccerem: for evil appeareth out of the north, and great destruction.”

Jeremiah 6:2 “I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate woman.”Jeremiah 6:3 “The shepherds with their flocks shall come unto her; they shall pitch their tents against her round about; they shall feed every one in his place.”Jeremiah 6:4 “Prepare ye war against her; arise, and let us go up at noon. Woe unto us! for the day goeth away, for the shadows of the evening are stretched out.”Jeremiah 6:5 “Arise, and let us go by night, and let us destroy her palaces.”Jeremiah 6:6 “For thus hath the LORD of hosts said, Hew ye down trees, and cast a mount against Jerusalem: this is the city to be visited; she is wholly oppression in the midst of her.”

As we see here Beth-haccerem, we see the Lord’s Day. The devil, son of perdition, will come in and remember in the religious role, of playing the false prophet or Jesus as Revelation 13:11. The shepherds, the Bible teachers and religious leaders will come into Jerusalem and here we see the end of this earth age, as the shadows of the evening are stretched out, or the ending of this period, and then that’s when Satan comes at the final hour of this earth age. Satan always symbolized by the night and the Lord by the day. Then we see the LORD will visit the city at His return, beginning the Lord’s Day, but after Satan comes for the five months as Revelation 9:5 states on earth as son perdition, sitting on God’s throne claiming that he is God:

II Thessalonians 2:1 “Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto Him.”

II Thessalonians 2:2 “That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter, as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.”

II Thessalonians 2:3 “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition,”

II Thessalonians 2:4 “Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the Temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.”

away, forsake; (same as feminine Strong’s 647) something separative, i.e. divorce, (writing of) divorcement; (from derivative of Strong’s 868) to remove, i.e. instigate to revolt; to desist, desert; fall away, depart; (from Strong’s 575) “off”, i.e. away , and from Strong’s 2476) to stand.

perdition (Strong’s 684) ruin or loss (physically, spiritual or eternal); damnable, destruction, die, perdition, waste; (a presumed derivative of (Strong’s 622) to destroy fully (reflexive to perish, or lose), literally or figuratively destroy, die, lose, mar, perish.

We are warned not to listen to any person, men’s teachings, evil spirits which can get into people if they let them, any letter as the I Thessalonians or epistle or letter that Paul wrote to the Thessalonians, that’s why then this II Thessalonians written for no room for doubt. The subject our gathering back to the Lord and the end of this world age. It CANNOT HAPPEN UNTIL, two things happen. The first, the apostacy, or going away from one’s religion, and then, two, the son of perdition, the son sentenced to perish or be destroyed fully, sits in God’s throne at the mount of Olives in Jerusalem claiming to be God. Those two things must happen FIRST before Jesus returns. Now back to:

Nehemiah 3:15 “But the gate of the fountain repaired Shallun the son of Colhozeh, the ruler of part of Mizpah; he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and the wall of the pool of Siloah by the king's garden, and unto the stairs that go down from the city of David.”

Shallun (Strong’s 7968) (probably for Strong’s 7967)Shallum; (same as Strong’s 7966) a requital, i.e. (secure) retribution; (venal, being bought or obtained by money) a fee, reward.

Colhozeh (Strong’s 3626) every seer; Col-Cho-zeh; (from Strong’s 3605) the whole; all, any, every; (from Strong’s 3634) to complete, make perfect; and (from Strong’s 2374) a beholder in vision; also a compact (as looked upon with approval); agreement, prophet, seer; (act participle of Strong’s 2372) to gaze at; mentally to perceive, contemplate (with pleasure); to have a vision of; look, prophesy, see.

Mizpah (Strong’s 4709) Mitspah; (feminine of Strong’s 4708) Mitspeh; (same as Strong’s 4707) an observatory, watch-tower.

Siloah (Strong’s 7975) a fountain of Jerus; (from Strong’s 7971 to send away, for or out.

The next group repaired the fountain gate to include Shallun, meaning requital or retribution, as for a fee or be bought off for money, son of Colhozeh, meaning every seer, or a vision, and by Siloah, meaning to send away. We see here another move in by Satan, as this prophet out of his own vision, not from God as the son is one that could be bought off, and in power a ruler of a region of Mizpah, the watch-tower, which was to be used when watching out for the enemy! That’s why we must take our time and look at God’s Word, to see how the enemy slips in, and we see it is in the building of that protection of God’s Wall, and the foundation of the temple, or the many-membered body or His people! Satan works best in the religious roles or through churches, as we see as son of perdition, he will play Jesus. Now let’s go on:

II Samuel 5:7 “Nevertheless David took the strong hold of Zion: the same is the city of David.”

We see here Zion then is the City of David, which is Jerusalem. Now continuing:

Nehemiah 3:16 “After him repaired Nehemiah the son of Azbuk, the ruler of the half part of Bethzur, unto the placeover against the sepulchres of David, and to the pool that was made, and unto the house of the mighty.”

Nehemiah 3:17 “After him repaired the Levites, Rehum the son of Bani. Next unto him repaired Hashabiah, the ruler of the half part of Keilah, in his part.”

Azbuk (Strong’s 5802) stern depopulator; (from Strong’s 5794) strong, vehement, harsh, fierce; (from Strong’s 5810) to be stout, impudent, harden, and (from roof of Strong’s 950) (to be hollow) emptiness.

Bethzur (Strong’s 1049) house of (the rock); (from Strong’s 1004) a house, family; (probably from Strong’s 1129) to build, begin to build, obtain children, make, repair, set up.

Rehum (Strong’s 7348) Rechum; (form of Strong’s 7349) compassionate, merciful; (from Strong’s 7355) to fondle; to love, especially compassionate.

Hashabiah (Strong’s 2811) Jah has regarded.

Keilah (Strong’s 7084) citadel; (from Strong’s 7049 in sense of citadel) to sling; also to carve (as if a circular motion, or into light forms); carve, sling out.

Then here we have another Nehemiah, meaning consolation of Jah or Jah comforts, and his father Azbuk, meaning stern depopulator, not the same Nehemiah! Satan again slipping in here! Then Bethzur, meaning house or family of the rock, his father, Jah has regarded, a circuit ruler of Keilah, meaning citadel. Let’s continue:

Nehemiah 3:18 “After him repaired their brethren, Bavai the son of Henadad, the ruler of the half part of Keilah.”Nehemiah 3:19 “And next to him repaired Ezer the son of Jeshua, the ruler of Mizpah, another piece over against the going up to the armoury at the turning of the wall.”Nehemiah 3:20 “After him Baruch the son of Zabbai earnestly repaired the other piece, from the turning of the wallunto the door of the house of Eliashib the high priest.”Nehemiah 3:21 “After him repaired Meremoth the son of Urijah the son of Koz another piece, from the door of the house of Eliashib even to the end of the house of Eliashib.”Nehemiah 3:22 “And after him repaired the priests, the men of the plain.”

Bavai (Strong’s 942) of Persian origin, Bavvai.

Henadad (Strong’s 2582) favor of Hadad; (from Strong’s 2580) graciousness, i.e. kindness, favor, beauty; and (from Strong’s 1908) Hadad of foreign origin; name of an idol or several kings of Edom.

Ezer (Strong’s 5829) Ezer; (same as Strong’s 5828) aid, help.

Meremoth (Strong’s 4822) heights; (from Strong’s 7311) to be high, to rise or raise, extol.

Zabbai (Strong’s 2079) Zabbai (or Zaccai); (prob for Strong’s 2140) pure; Zakkai; (from Strong’s 2141) to be transparent or clean.

Then Bavai, his name of Persian origin, his father Henadad, meaning favor of Hadad, an Edomite idol, also circuit ruler of Keilah , or citadel. Then Ezer, meaning aid or help, son of Jeshua, Jehovah saved, the ruler of Mizpah, or watch tower. Then Baruch, meaning blessed, son of Zabbai, meaning pure or clean, to the door of Eliashib’s house meaning God will restore. Then Meremoth was repaired, meaning heights, by son of Urijah, flame of Jah to the location of the house of Eliashib, meaning God will restore. Then next going on:

Nehemiah 3:23 “After him repaired Benjamin and Hashub over against their house. After him repaired Azariah the son of Maaseiah the son of Ananiah by his house.”Nehemiah 3:24 “After him repaired Binnui the son of Henadad another piece, from the house of Azariah unto the turning of the wall, even unto the corner.”

Benjamin (Strong’s 1144) son of the right hand.

Hashub (Strong’s 2815) intelligent; (from Strong’s 2808) contrivance; device, reason; (from Strong’s 2803) to plait or interpenetrate, i.e. to weave; to fabricate; to plot or contrive (usually in a malicious sense; to think, regard, value, compute.

Azariah (Strong’s 5838) Jah has helped.

Then Benjamin, meaning son of the right hand, and Hashub, meaning intelligent as plotting, and in a malicious sense, repaired, along with Azariah, meaning Jah has helped, the son of Azariah, meaning Jah has helped, the son of Maaseiah, meaning Jah has covered or acted covertly. Then Binnui, meaning built up as a family or children, the son of Henadad, meaning favor of Hadad, an Edomite idol, repaired the house of Azariah, meaning Jah has helped. Take note Satan slipped in there again. Then let’s go on:

Nehemiah 3:25 “Palal the son of Uzai, over against the turning of the wall, and the tower which lieth out from the king's high house, that wasby the court of the prison. After him Pedaiah the son of Parosh.”Nehemiah 3:26 “Moreover the Nethinims dwelt in Ophel, unto the placeover against the water gate toward the east, and the tower that lieth out.”Nehemiah 3:27 “After them the Tekoites repaired another piece, over against the great tower that lieth out, even unto the wall of Ophel.”

Palal (Strong’s 6420) judge; (from Strong’s 6419) to judge; to intercede, pray; make supplication.

Uzai (Strong’s 186) strong; (perhaps by permanent for Strong’s 5813)forceful; (from Strong’s 5810) to be stout, harden, impudent, prevail, strengthen, strong.

Tekoites (Strong’s 8621) a Tekoite; (from Strong’s 8620) (from Strong’s 8619) a trumpet; (from Strong’s 8628 in the musical sense) to clatter, i.e. (slap the hands together), clan (an instrument); to drive (a nail or tent-pin, dart), to become bondsman (by hand-clasping).

Nethinims (Strong’s 5411) one given, i.e. The Nethinim, or Temple-servants (as given up to that duty); (from Strong’s 5414) to give (put, make).

Ophel (Strong’s 6077) Ophel, a ridge in Jerus; (same as Strong’s 6076) a tumor, also a mound, i.e. fortress, emerod, fort, strong hold, tower.

Then Palal, meaning judge, the son of Uzai, meaning strong or forceful repaired the king’s high, meaning lofty or supreme as the temple, house, by the prison court. Then Pedaiah, meaning Jah has ransomed, son of Parosh, meaning a flea, was working with him on God’s temple! Satan again slipping in. Then going on here again the Nethinims, the temple servants, appointed by man and not God, lived in Ophel, meaning the mound or fortress. Then the Tekoites, meaning the musicians and the base means to drive a nail or tent peg, so we know possibly the Kenites, or sons of Cain as here:

Genesis 4:17 “And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.”

Genesis 4:21 “And his brother's name [was] Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ.

This Jubal a musical, an offspring of Cain here. Then going here:

Nehemiah 3:28 “From above the horse gate repaired the priests, every one over against his house.”Nehemiah 3:29 “After them repaired Zadok the son of Immer over against his house. After him repaired also Shemaiah the son of Shechaniah, the keeper of the east gate.”Nehemiah 3:30 After him repaired Hananiah the son of Shelemiah, and Hanun the sixth son of Zalaph, another piece. After him repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah over against his chamber.”Nehemiah 3:31 “After him repaired Malchiah the goldsmith's son unto the place of the Nethinims, and of the merchants, over against the gate Miphkad, and to the going up of the corner.”Nehemiah 3:32 “And between the going up of the corner unto the sheep gate repaired the goldsmiths and the merchants.”

Zadok (Strong’s 6659) just; (from Strong’s 6663) to be right (in a moral or forensic sense); cleanse, clear self, just, righteous.

Immer (Strong’s 564) talkative; (from Strong’s 559) to say, bid, boast, tell, speak, utter.

Hanun (Strong’s 2586) favored; (from Strong’s 2603) to bend or stoop in kindness to an inferior; to favor, bestow; to implore (i.e. move to favor by petition).

Zalaph (Strong’s 6764) root of unknown meaning wound; Tsalaph;

Malchiah (Strong’s 4441) king (i.e. appointed by) of Jah

merchants (Strong’s 7402) to travel for trading; (spice) merchant.

Miphkad (Strong’s 4603) to cover up; to act covertly, i.e. treacherously, transgress, (commit, do) trespass.

Zadok, meaning just, the son of Immer, meaning talkative, again Satan slipping in, Then we get to Hanun, meaning favored, the sixth son of Zalaph, meaning wound. They reapired Malchiah, meaning king of Jah, the goldsmith’s son, to where again, the Nethinims, the temple servants, again Kenites, or sons of Cain who mixed in with Judah. Then to the merchants, or those working in trade, and to the gate of Miphkad, meaning to cover up or act covertly. Then we see there the goldsmiths and merchants. So we have to check out God’s Word, especially when building His wall of protection for we, too, will be going into captivity when Satan sits in God’s seat as son of perdition, the son sentenced to perish, as Revelation 20:10 states. We have to be grounded in God’s Word, not the traditions of man, religion, or church doctrines, as we see how easily Satan slips in there. God teaching us to be cautious, always verifying anyone, myself included, any pastor, pope, priest, rabbi, bishop, teacher, reverend or religious leader bringing God’s Word. As we each will be held accountable for our actions, not that we belong to a particular church or religion. God loves you for staying in His Word every day and so do I! We can only be strengthened and protected by His wall, Which is the Word of God!

Love,

Mindy
