The world I live in.
Cold days, Dark nights
That's what seems to happen
Whenever I try to make my light shine bright
This is the world I live in.
Long days, Short nights
Working myself to the bone
Just trying to see the light
This is the world I live in.
This life is a constant struggle
Fighting to reach the light
Good and evil in an unseen battle
This is the world I live in.
Everyday I hit my knees and pray
Waging war against those unseen
In your light I want to stay
This is the world I live in.
I thank God for this life
And all the blessings I've received
Without God my world would be strife
I thank God for this works I live in.
