There were many people who visited Jesus when He was in his earth, people visited Him for their various needs and for varied reasons, however amongst them were some who visited Him to find fault with Him, to question His authority and to accuse Him.
"Then they came again to Jerusalem. And as He was walking in the temple, the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders came to Him. " Mark 11:27 (NKJV)
We know that the Pharisees did not succeed in their mission for Jesus, for they were never able to prove right any charge against Jesus, not were they able to find any fault in Him, however such people still do exist, not having learnt from history, not having learnt from the failure of God's accusers, there are still many who spend their time and efforts to prove God wrong and to prove His followers as fool.
Such people are those who discourage others in faith and those who question the authority and existence of God.
The Bible says of such as....
The fool has said in his heart,
“There is no God.”
Psalms 14:1 (NKJV)
They are actually fools who have accepted the folly of the devil and wander about not searching for the truth but rather searching fault in the truth.
God will surely heal many of them and He has already done and thus also we do pray.
Let's pray earnestly that such endeavours may soon come to an end and such people may soon recognise that there is no greater foolishness than to accuse Him Who loved us the best, even to the point of laying down His life for us.
