Here is the first hymn I wrote on the Lord's day September 24, 1989. I actually lost this hymn but the Lord gave me the words one night while I was working the graveyard shift as a counselor at a group home for boys in Jenny Lind, CA.
This hymn is based on Psalm 148
Lift Up Your Voice to the God of Creation
Lift up your voice to the God of creation and sing aloud of His wonderful works.
Angels and hosts and ye heavenly nation
and all His power that He doth exert.
Praise ye the LORD all ye stars of creation fire and hail, snow and vapor on earth.
even the wind storming through every station fulfills His word and is like the new birth.
Praise ye the LORD all ye hills of creation big beasts and cattle that creep, roam and roar peoples and kings and ye judge of the nation sing of His praises for ever and more.
Lift up your voice to the God of creation and kiss the Son lest in wrath He retort righteous and just is his own condemnation who disbelieves on His name and report.
For our God who alone is King
He shall prevail and subdue everything
in power and might, He's exalted on high
the God of Jeshuran dwells in the sky.
