Dear God Tracker
Put a Name on Your Hand Today and Pray
The column I’d set aside for my “2-Do-2-Day” list in my diary seemed to be overflowing one Tuesday morning as I prepared my day. I was already running late and had no idea how I would complete my tasks. On top of my work load, I was feeling the onslaught of the old enemy: discouragement, fatigue and temptation. “Lord I need some help here,” I grunted as I rubbed a wrinkled brow. Just then my mobile phone jingled with a text message notification. What now? Picking up my phone I clicked into my inbox and read the name of a dear friend and member of our church. Opening the text I read, “Hi Dudley. Just want you to know that your name is the name on my hand today to pray for. I’ll be praying for you all day.”
Something I’d personally been doing for some time now was to write a different name of friends and family on my hand each day. As I went through the day I’d spot that name from time to time and pray for its owner. Even when the ink began to fade I’d still notice the left-over smudge and pray. Today, someone else was doing this for me! I was the name on a hand, and just when I needed it most.
God-tracking can be very precarious at the best of times. The devil hates a life intent on walking in the purposes of God. From temptation to physical abuse to overload, in this world, Satan will do all he can to distract, dissuade and discourage the Tracker of God. But we take courage because Jesus has said that he has overcome the world. This is why, by the Holy Spirit, Paul said, “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints,” (Ephesians 6:18). Why not put a name on your hand toda, and pray?
God-tracking is praying for other God Trackers.
GodTracker is now also available as a blog. Check out: http://godtracker.blogspot.com/
Our hope is that, by sharing experiences in tracking the will of God, we will draw closer to him and discover the awesome value of walking with God. Let us know what you think by e-mailing email@example.com God knows the plans he has for you. So go ahead and track them!

What is trACker?
GodTracker and trACker owe their origins to an international Christian radio programme produced by Dudley Anderson called, OnTrack. Although OnTrack went off-air in 2005, trACker has continued to help people to track God's plans and purposes for their lives since July 2003.

“Intercessory prayer might be defined as loving our neighbour on our knees.” --- Charles Brent
Don’t Give-up, Look-up!
Look-up and Fix Your Eyes On Jesus!
That I May Daily Pray For Others
But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit.
“First off, my Lord, I want to thank you for the many folk who have been praying for me. I pray for them, too, that you would bless them and meet their every need in Christ Jesus. Now I choose to pray for my loved ones and the many people in my life. Help me to pray for each individually and to be fervent in prayer. Give me insight into their needs, because I believe that if I pray believing that I have received that for which I pray, it will be mine. Praise God for the power of prayer! Lead me by your Holy Spirit that I may daily pray for others. Amen.”
