Jesus said that we can do nothing without Him, thus all that we do without Jesus is nothing, however many live and try to enjoy the nothing as if it were everything only to realise later that their choicest ways of life are now being used against them.
"It shall come to pass that your choicest valleys
Shall be full of chariots,
And the horsemen shall set themselves in array at the gate." Isaiah 22:11 (NKJV)
God has created us in His own image and the basic structure of our creation is such that we can be in perfect peace only when with God and all our endeavours without God is actually taking away our peace.
I do carefully observe many people who do not believe in God, many are content with what they are doing and learn to compromise with many issues in life over which they have no hold with the presumption that that's the way the world works, however I am also deeply sorrowed by the fact that how much they miss not being with the Lord, for in God we have no instance of compromise and satuarated belief rather we experience new blessings daily and that makes life more beautiful.
The life of a person without God is just an attempt to survive in the present world adapting oneself to what the world has to offer and that is what the devil wants in our life, however the life of a Christian is the wonderful experience of seeing God's plan being fulfilled in this world for him/her.
We do not exist in this world just to earn, learn and burn in our worldly passions rather we are here to fulfill God's wonderful purpose for us and having accomplished the Lord's will we will move ahead to be with Him and in His glorious fellowship forever.
Thus, let not our heart be content with our choicest valleys in this world, rather let the love of God fill our life with the true peace we can ever have.
