Someone needed to hear this today.......Maybe you've lost a loved one lately.......if they could speak to us personally here is what I think they might say......
I am where I love to be, safe in God's strong hands,
I wouldn't come back for anything, I hope you'll understand,
I love you all so much it hurts, and thanks for loving me,
But now I can touch the face of God, I'm where I love to be.
Never forget those memories, we had while I was there,
Never forget the fun we had, and love our family shared,
Never forget that I'm not dead, I'm simply waiting for you,
Jesus reminds me everyday, you're coming to heaven too.
There's going to be a family reunion, like we've never had before,
Just wait till you see all this beauty, God has for us in store,
We'll laugh and sing in harmony, like Momma taught us to do,
Even the pets we loved so much, are gathered up here too.
So when your thoughts turn to me, don't cry I'm doing great,
Just know that when your time comes, I'll meet you at the gate,
And once you've touched the face of God, you'll say the same as me,
Heaven is more than I ever hoped for, and the place I love to be.
