In darkness and fear,
small and alone,
my soul waits,
longing for home.
There is a spark,
something ignites,
an act of kindness,
the glow of love lights.
The light breaks,
and the dark departs,
my soul then glows,
which warms my heart.
I feed the fire,
to build a blaze,
continue growing in love,
so the glow of my soul stays.
unselfish with love,
must share the gift,
so others are warmed,
their darkness to lift.
