The other day I caught myself wondering, how high would the stack of reading material etc. reach into the sky that each human uses during a life time?
The quest to discover more about life is in some way an obsession with many people and near so with even more.
A thinking Christian of another era, a simpler time actually made a very brief statement on life that rings true to me. Blaise Pascal wrote: "Between us and heaven and hell there is only life, which is the frailest thing in the world."
The frailest thing in the world, placed in the most important position in your world. Heaven and Hell, one will be your eternal home and the only thing keeping you from either is what we call life. Life spends its entire earthly existence one breath from death. Frail is the strongest word for life. Yet there is another avenue for living and Pascal knew this way. Our life which is frail is made stronger than death when Christ enters and imparts eternal life to all who believe in Him. Revelation 1:18 "I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death." Christ is the door to heaven and He is open for you.
