Alive Within Your Hearts
I am sorry I cannot be there,
In your sorrow and pain;
It is hard but we both know,
we will reunite again.
Close your eyes and remember me,
I don’t want you feeling blue;
When you see me in you memory
Picture times I was with you...
I have a mansion in paradise,
With angels and friends too;
Meeting love ones from the past,
They comfort when I miss you.
Hold on to our precious memories,
don't let my void pull you down;
I am enjoying this beautiful place,
Turned my hat if for a crown.
I get to tell others about my life.
tears fill my eyes then I say;
I miss you…they roll down my face,
Christ's hand wipes them away.
In those times you want me near,
remember we are not apart;
Your love will retain me there
alive within your heart.
