Summing it all up, friends, I'd say you'll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse-Philippians 4:8 TM
Recently the song entitled God's got a blessing (which is such a beautiful expression of God's continual reassurance) by Norman Hutchins has resurfaced in my life. Its return is largely due to the proposed threat of unemployment. The uncertainty of unemployment has kept this song impressed upon my brain, so much that I'd find myself singing (whether out loud or in my head) it as often as possible. The repetition of this song is by no means a coincidence but only that of God's divine intervention to incite comfort for me.
Since we serve a God of all comfort it should be quite easy to see that encouragement is one of God's greatest attributes. Having said that here
are just a few verses that have God's embolden written all over them-1) Have I not commanded you to be strong and courageous? Don't be frightened and dismayed, for THE LORD YOUR GOD IS WITH YOU WHEREVER YOU GO-Joshua 1:9; 2) I have good plans for you, NOT PLANS TO HURT YOU. I will give you hope and a good future-Jeremiah 29:11 & 3) In this world you'll have trouble, but be brave for I'VE DEFEATED THE WORLD-John 16:33. Do those verses not incite immediate consolation for a wounded or broken spirit? Indeed they do!

His power will clear your way;
Wait for his time; the darkest night
Shall end in brightest day."-Paul Gerhardt
