Tarantula in my room tonight,
Tried to snuff him but he's still alright,
Across my ceiling is his home,
Hope on my face he does not roam,
Too early in the morning,
To not go back to sleep,
I will go and grab the Mortein,
Then have another peep,
Tarantula on the move again,
I will grab the broom to ease his pain,
Which end to use to get this guy?
Another sleepless night I sigh,
Tried the straw end to no avail,
He is dazed but his still on the trail,
Weary eyed I long for bed,
Think of tarantula on my head,
Tarantula's quiet have I won,
He rises again like the a morning sun,
Try the other end of my broom once more,
I have a quick stab then run to the door,
Longest legs I’ve ever seen,
Boy this alien sure is mean,
Grab my pillow on the lounge I crawl,
Now tarantula has my room and all,
In my lounge room is where I now be,
On the clock its 2.45am I see,
The dogs are singing their usual tune,
Four part harmonies to the moon,
Never before have I felt this way,
Wish Clint was here Spider make my day,
Into the night time slips right on by,
Another sleepless night I sigh.
