There are three men sitting at a table. The first one is wearing a high priced suit. He is clean shaved. Every hair on his head lays just right. He wears a watch that is worth more than suit. When people look at him they are jealous and envious of what he has and he likes it that way.

He has a sign in his office that reads, when your at the top of the food chain you can do the impossible.

The second man at the table is wearing a white t shirt and a pair of blue jeans. He is dressed causally. He wears a pair of faded work boots. When people look at him they smile and say that is a good ole boy. He works the fields by planting and harvesting rice and other grains. He has worked in the fields since he was a boy. He was trained by his Dad and the men before him to be honest and loyal.

The third man at the table looks like he needs a bath. His hair needs to be washed and brushed. His clothes needs to be thrown away. When people look at him they look away or just stare at him. They think why doesn’t he take care of himself. He is lazy and just a bum. He has faded tattoos from the war he fought for our country. He is one of our forgotten ones. As a teenager he was sent over seas to fight for our freedom. It changed his whole world

As the three men sit at the table another man sits down on the other side of the table. He has three files in his hands. These men were called to heaven one night in a airplane accident. Now they sit in front of The Master.

The man in the suit just smiles as The Master sits down. “Praise the Holy name of God. I am so glad to be with my maker now.” The man in the suit says.

The Master just smiles and opens up the man in the suits’ file.

“Joe Montana, I have looked at your file and I do not find anywhere that you had made my Son your savior.” The Master said with a serious look on His face.

“What do you mean, Master, I gave my life to you when I was seven years old. I said the prayer and even got baptized.” Joe replied.

The Master opens the file to that day when he was seven and shows it to Joe. On this day Joe prayed to me with assistance. A small seed was planted. Then The Master turned the file to another page. Joe was baptized today and the seed was watered. Unfortunately the seed died when Joe lost his Mother and became angry and never talked to me again.

Tears began to roll down Joe’s face. “I am sorry Master. I got busy with my life. I had to take care of everybody when my Mother died. I figured you would understand. I gave to the poor and adopted three homeless children. I was a good man. I made a name in the world for you.” Joe said through the tears.

“It does not matter what you do on the earth. It matters how you do it and what name do you do it in. You did all this in your name not mine. You never came to me through my son, Jesus.” The Master said as He took the file and closed it.

An angel came up behind Joe and ask him to get up and come with him. The Master handed the file to the angel and they walked away. The Master wiped away His tears because He had lost another soul that could have been saved but he let the world keep him busy and deceived.

The old veteran began to cry. “Master I know I have not lived most of my life for you. Please let me stay with you, I won’t let you down.”

The Master opens up the old veteran’s file. “Jerry Odom, I have looked at you file. I see as a child you came to me with a child’s heart and stepped through the gate of righteousness. You served me for many years. I see when you were about twenty you started living for yourself.” The Master says with a sad look.

“I know Master I screwed up and let Satan temp me and cause me to leave you.” Jerry says.

“Jerry as a man of God you have to take responsibility for your own actions. Remember I do not put more on you than you can bear.” The Master says.

Jerry began to cry and pray for forgiveness. Then he started begging for another chance.

“I am sorry Jerry, you will have to wait to be my side. The only chance I can give you is to send you back to earth and you live for me.” The Master said.

“Please send me back. I want another chance.” Joe pleads.

The Master claps His hands and Jerry wakes up in a hospital bed and begins his life again.

The good ole boy smiles at his Master and does not say a word.

“Eddie Man, all I have to say to you is. Welcome home my child. Your race is over now you can take your place by me.” The Master says.

Eddie stands up and starts singing the praises of God His Maker. He begins dancing with the angels.

The reason Eddie was welcomed in he lived a life for God and not for himself and walked a daily walk with Jesus. It was not because he was a good ole boy. It was because he is a true child of God.

Can you say that about yourself.? If something happen to day and you died and had to sit in front of the Master, what would He say to you?
