How can you know if you’ve had an encounter with Almighty God? Isaiah 6:3 says holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts for the earth is full of God’s glory. Have you been filled with God’s glory? Verse four goes on to say “at just the announcement of His showing up it causes the doorposts to be moved.” Do you find yourself changed because of God’s presence?
The book of Habakkuk says God’s glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of His praise. Just think; your Savior’s beauty, excellence, and majesty are yours to experience as you listen to that still small voice which communes with you day and night. When you’ve been in the presence of such glory, you can’t help but be moved. Just like the door posts, your heart is enlarged to contain God’s grandeur. Prepare the way of the Lord in your heart and proclaim to the things in your life that He’s coming. Make Him King of your consequences, ruler of your condition so that you can be changed into something that will bring honor and glory to His name.
Just as the doorpost must move at the announcement of His coming, so must your circumstances yield to His presence. But you must take a stand and walk in the authority you’ve freely been given through the acceptance of God’s gift of grace through Jesus Christ. You must lead the way for your circumstances to change by allowing God’s holiness to first change you. Purify your heart and become complete in Him so that in His authority you can walk in the worthiness of Christ. Because when you’ve encountered God’s holiness, you can’t help but be changed and rearranged made righteous to reign never again the same.
