He must increase, but I must decrease. (John 3:30)

This verse means a lot to me.
Jesus is my first love.
My old sinful self has been
cleansed and has passed away.
Now I am a new creation
in Christ Jesus.

His life and characteristics
must increase in my new life.
His Spirit is inside me and
His desires are becoming my desires.

Everyday I am learning
to be more like Jesus
as my old self diminishes.
He is my first love.

I put God first in my life.
I love Him with all my heart,
with all my soul, with all my mind,
and with all my strength.
This is His first commandment.

I love Him so much, also
because He loved me first
even while I was still a sinner.
He died for me.

He also died for you.
I pray you learn to love Him, too.
Thank You for loving us, Jesus.

Matthew 22:37,38
