Fresh. warm water runs down her back
The smell of precious oils and perfumes pervade;
My mind starts heading down the wrong track
The lights in the room begin to fade.
Making small steps toward the bathroom,
In a mind of concupiscence;
Thinking she would come out soon
Losing more and more patience!
So, I head to the kitchen to eat some sweets
Then I hear the shower stop.
Peeking 'round the corner, I can see her feet
But she hasn't revealed her top!
I make my way 'round the corner of the kitchen
Hoping she doesn't know I'm there.
Dropping a dish, she catches my attention
A shower robe, she did wear.
She runs in the bedroom and locks the door
While I frown and get upset.
Feeling stupid since I tried this before
I haven't lost my manhood yet!
I kindly knock on the door, asking her to let me in
She fusses at me and tells me to go away;
Then, I understand concupiscence is a sin
So, I fall on my knees to pray!
Regretting the fact I was seeking an affair,
I humbled myself in tears!
When she came out of the room, smiled, and gave me a stare
My sadness turned into cheer!
From this point forward, now I know
Good things come to those who wait!
Instead of rushing, I'll take it slow,
Cause love never shows up late!
