On the last week of January 2012, I fell down the stairs, which led to the doorway. I can't remember how it happened becasue I was so shocked as I fell down the stairs in pain.
I could remember my husband saying,
"You should go to the hospital." I told him to wait in the morning. My daughter fetched me some pants in my room to put on because all I had on was my night clothes. I told not to bother going to the hospital until the next morning.
The next morning when I got up, I felt sick so I went back to bed, and I got up five minutes later, got dressed, and I crawled downstairs. I was afraid to walk on my right foot because it hurt so much. I couldn't put my boot on, so I just went out to the car with my foot all bandaged up. My husband and daughter accompanied me to the hospital around 8:30am. I was in a wheelchair as I sat in the waiting. My foot was in pain. I waited for 2 hours before I my foot was x-rayed. The doctor told me to get my foot x-rayed a second time to a clearer picture of my foot. She said it was badly sprained and broken. The nurse gave me some crutches, and an aircast which I am presently wearing for another month at least. I am also off work, expecting to recieve some money from service Canada.
