Each person is a unique creation of God. We are as unique as the snowflakes in winter. As I watched the snowflakes fly the other day, I looked closely at some of the flakes, and noticed that some were shaped like trees, some were shaped like stars, but each one was unique and different and beautiful, they all had different shapes. Each snowflake had little veins and ruffles and was totally different from any other snowflake. That is just how we are, Scripture speaks in Psalm 139:14-18 of how unique each person is, and how God took time to create each one of us and that he thinks about us all the time. It reminded me of the Bible verse in 1 Corinthians 12:15 that talks about of the variety of gifts and variety of the members of Christ’s body. All are important and needed. Some are a foot, perhaps they do laborious work, some a hand they also do laborious work, some a mouth, perhaps they teach, some an ear, perhaps they are counselors and listen to people’s problems. Each one has different gifts that God has given to each to use for his service. It reminds me that we are all different and unique.
