Have you ever thought who shall you be? or how shall you be known as?
We know ourselves each day and we are good and bad, a blessing and a curse at different times, yet a time will come when we will only be known or remembered as either a good or a bad person, a person who really lived as per God's will or a person who has failed God. That's our destiny!!! and it may not be far, may be just a few more years and we will know who we really are.
"And Elijah appeared to them with Moses, and they were talking with Jesus. " Mark 9:4 (NKJV)
Elijah was a mighty prophet of the Lord who stood for God and glorified God before all. In times when the entire mass of people were against him and trying to kill him, he held on to his faith in God and his zeal for God and when the opportune time came he was lifted up gloriously.
What will be the essence of our life? How would God summarise our stay on this earth? Will we live on gloriously when out of this body in heaven or will we be burning forever in hell? like it or not we will be in one of those experiences.
We do not know how much time we have to change the course of our life to blessedness, however the blessed fact is this, we can do it now, for God is willing, ready and able to change us.
We definitely will be known, yet how - depends on what we decide.
Let us be aware of the brevity of time we have and desirous of the blessedness God has in store for us.
We will surely be known, let is be as 'an obedient child of God.'
