Its easy to feel the ginger to do something whilst you wait. In my early years in school, we were encouraged not to 'waste' or 'kill' time. They suggested that this was some form of laziness. However, this tends to make one impatient when it comes to God's work.
The best thing one can do for God is to obey; if done always, then the better. The biggest mistake, on the other hand, that people make is to do 'good' whilst disobeying God. God is never satisfied with this.
An example is when God sent Saul to destroy the Amalekites, directing Him to destroy everything and leave nothing. Saul, however, realised that he could do some 'good' by not destroying the good stuff. God did not like this, for the king had disregarded God even though what he did was 'good'.
Today, let us stand firm whilst God does His will. Do not be removed from the presence of God through Christ, for it is where our redemption and the remission of our sins is. In Jesus Christ's name, Amen!
