I've seen the light, it comes and goes
from where it came no one knows
round and round I try to look
a message it leaves, like a book
I tried to open it once before
people read it, some no more
tis a book all about life
great His Story, I'm kept from strife
From page to page and line by line
the Words it seem keep me fine
from when I was little a long time ago
to now I'm big; more I need to know!
Life is complex, but the book is simple
like a child I smile with a dimple
and find the passage to help me through
It's all about God, me and you!
It Lights my way round each dark turn
when in my tummy I feel it churn
a piece I find, my peace a gain
within my soul, the Lord shall reign.
